The Welland Food Drive has already raised just over $40,000 so far.
But it still has a bit to go before reaching its $100,000 goal and all of the proceeds will be going to the Hope Centre, the Salvation Army and the Open Arms Mission.
The Food Drive is only accepting cash donations this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It recently received a cheque for $5,000 from the Welland Optimist Club.
