A 43-year-old Welland man will have to wait to learn his fate after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
In 2017 an investigation was launched by the Niagara Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit and in 2018 Jason Kimberley was arrested.
He faces charges of possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography, distributing child pornography and making available child pornography.
The Review reports Kimberley, who had no past criminal record, pleaded guilty and returned to court this past Friday for sentencing.
The crown suggested the judge impose an order that the defendant seek alcohol and sexual behavior counselling.
Judge Joseph Nadel will deliver his decision in April.
