Winner takes home $62,740.
The Niagara Health Foundation has announced the winner of its most recent 50/50 draw.
Eleonora Cook, a Welland Hospital Charge Nurse, is taking home $62,740.
When asked how she was going to spend the money, she said "we are going to start some much-needed renovations."
Cook has worked for Niagara Health since 1989.
Since the program began in 2020, the Niagara Health Foundation has awarded over $490,000 in cash prizes as part of the lottery.
The next lottery will take place April 1st to 29th, with three cash prizes of $1000 every Friday before the final draw.
