Welland Pair Arrested for Child Porn

Police were called to a Welland home earlier today, eventually arresting a man and woman

A man and woman from Welland are each facing Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation material charges.

It began earlier today, when police were called to a home in Welland, although they have not specified the type of call.

Responding officers soon called in help from the NRP Internet Child Exploitation unit, and after a thorough investigation, two people were arrested.

Police say 40-year old Kory Alexander Hodgins and 32-year old Brianna Aleea Gearing are both charged with making child porn, possessing it, and distribution.

They were held in custody, pending bail hearings today.
