The DSBN is reporting another COVID-19 case at one of its schools.
One person at Quaker Road Public School in Welland has tested positive for the virus.
Staff members and students who had close contact with the individual have been notified and advised to self-isolate at home.
As a result, one classroom has been closed.
The school will be visited by a Public Health Inspector and a Public Health Nurse.
Custodians will also conduct a thorough cleaning of the premises.
