Eighteen of some of the best designed projects are at the center of the first-ever Niagara Biennial Design Awards.
They were all honoured during the Region's Planning and Economic Development Committee meeting yesterday.
The Fort Erie Waterfront was named the best overall project in the Visionary Design category.
Some of the other categories included Interior Design, Landscape Architecture and Commemorative Landscapes.
You can find a list of all of the categories and winners online here.
The Niagara Biennial Design Awards carries on the tradition started by the Niagara Community Design Awards, which ran from 1005 to 2016.
