The winter storm warning for Niagara remains in effect.
Environment Canada says between 20-30 cm of snow is expected by the overnight hours, with snowfall rates possibly hitting 2 cm an hour at times.
The snow is expected to taper off in the morning.
You're urged to consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
If you do need to go out, be mindful that surfaces like highways, roads, parking lots and walkways may be difficult to navigate.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead, and be prepared to stop if necessary.
