One person ticketed in connection to protest at Ford campaign stop in Hamilton.
One person was arrested in connection to a protest against Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford.
Ford made a campaign stop at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport around 5:30 p.m. yesterday.
Hamilton Police say a protest formed outside the premises and eventually made its way onto private property.
Protesters blocked the road to the Cargojet faciity, though most individuals complied when they were asked to move.
One individual who refused to move was arrested.
Lawyer Caryma Sa'd has posted on social media, tweeting out she is the person who was arrested.
Sa'd says she wasn't part of the protest group, and had an RSVP to attend the event.
Police and Sa'd both say she was released with a ticket for Trespass to Property.
S'ad says she plans to fight the ticket in court.
For everyone wondering about the “context” leading up to my arrest at Doug Ford’s rally, here it is.

I was at the property for around 20-30 minutes, much of which was spent waiting around for police. I was not blocking the hangar.#onpoli #OntarioVotes #Hamilton #GetTheFordOut pic.twitter.com/zbOR8sYBYG
