A 20-year-old St. Catharines woman remains in hospital with serious injuries, after she was hit by a car in her hometown.
The NRP says she was trying to cross Hartzel Road, close to Dunvegan Road, shortly before 1:00 a.m. this morning when she was hit by the vehicle.
Police say an 82-year-old St. Catharines man was behind the wheel at the time, but no charges have been laid.
The woman had to be airlifted to an out-of-town trauma centre.
