11 People Charged in Massive Drug Bust

Police searched homes and vehicles in Toronto and London, finding over $2-million in fentanyl and cocaine, also illegal guns

Over $2-million in fentanyl and cocaine, along with 31 illegal guns, found by provincial and London police after a year long investigation.

London police began the investigation due to gun violence, leading to Project Alias with other police forces, and 214 charges against 11 people, two are still at large.

None of the accused are from Niagara, but one person is from Stoney Creek.

OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique says the guns were shipped in from the US.  "Investigators also seized numerous prohibited devices, including a device to convert a handgun into a fully automatic weapon, capable of firing multiple rounds, with a single pull of the trigger."

They searched homes and vehicles in Toronto and London, adding the drugs could kill a quarter of London's population.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 14 search warrants were executed on residences and vehicles in London and Toronto by members from:

  •       OPP Biker Enforcement Unit
  •       OPP Provincial Guns and Gangs Enforcement Team
  •       OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit

  •       OPP Border Drug Interdiction Team
  •       OPP Border Enforcement Security Task Force
  •       OPP Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad
  •       Elgin/Middlesex, Brant/Oxford and Huron/Perth OPP Community Street Crime Units
  •       Hamilton Police Service Emergency Response Unit
  •       Toronto Police Service
  •       Royal Canadian Mounted Police

 

Throughout the investigation and as a result of the search warrants, the following items were seized with approximate quantities:

  •       31 crime guns
  •       25 prohibited devices, including over capacity magazines and auto switches
  •       Imitation firearm
  •       12.5 kg suspected fentanyl
  •       4.5 kg suspected cocaine
  •       275 oxycodone pills
  •       460 hydromorphone pills
  • ·      75 alprazolam pills
  •       CAN $64,000
  •       Two vehicles as offence-related property
  •       High-end jewellery
  •       Cell phones and electronic devices
