Niagara's death toll now at 492
Two more people have died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Public Health reporting the deaths, along with 173 new cases today.
There are 108 Niagara Health patients with the virus, 84 of which are being treated primarily for COVID-19.
Twenty-five patients are in the ICU, including six who are unvaccinated.
There are 2,658 active cases, including 824 in St. Catharines, 526 in Niagara Falls, and 297 in Welland.
The region also has 29 active outbreaks.
Throughout Niagara, over 989,000 vaccine doses have been administered.
