Police say the investigation began in Niagara Falls, leading to the arrest of St. Catharines men
Police stopping more cocaine from reaching the streets of Niagara.
They began a certain investigation last month in Niagara Falls, and yesterday arrested two men, who police say had 34 grams of cocaine and over $1,000.
Using search warrants, police then looked through 3 homes and two vehicles, where they found another 40 grams of the drug, and almost $4,000 in Canadian money.
Police have charged 31-year old Chad McConnery of St. Catharines with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime – Under $5000
He was released with a future court date.
36-year old Dylan Maniacco of St. Catharines also charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine (2 Counts)
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime – Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Release Order (2 Counts)
He has a bail hearing today.
