Police say it happened outside a bar on Main Street in Niagara Falls, 2 men tried to force a third into a vehicle
A 2nd suspect has been arrested by police in connection to an attempted kidnapping and robbery in Niagara Falls.
Police say on June 27th, three men were standing outside a bar on Main Street, when two of them, using a gun, tried to force the third into a vehicle.
The victim refused, and was able to escape, but not before receiving non life-threatening injuries, and having some jewelry stolen.
Last week, police arrested 26-year old Michael Velemirovich of Fort Erie, charging him with numerous offences:
- Robbery (Firearm)
- Kidnapping with a firearm
- Dangerous Operation
- Fail to comply with release order
- Breach of Probation order
He was held in custody with a future court date.
About a week earlier, police arrested a 22-year old man.
