Niagara Public Health is reporting 48 new cases of COVID-19 today, and no new deaths.
Eight people with the virus remain at local hospitals, and the death toll is at 373.
The region has four confirmed cases of the B117 variant, which was first discovered in the UK.
There are a further 115 cases under investigation for variants.
There are 305 active cases and 24 active outbreaks in Niagara.
St. Catharines has 61 active cases, followed by 58 in Niagara Falls and 55 in Welland.
Ontario is reporting 1508 new cases and 14 more deaths today.
There are 542 new cases in Toronto, 253 in Peel and 107 in York Region.
