Fifth Niagara resident in 20-39 age group dies of COVID-19.
Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Public Health confirming the death of a person in the 20-39 age group, along with 82 new infections today.
Niagara's COVID-19 death toll is now at 519.
There are 35 Niagara Health patients with the virus, 24 being treated primarily for COVID-19.
Four of the patients are in the ICU.
The region has 1,322 active cases and seven active outbreaks.
More than 1,017,000 vaccinations have been administered to date.
About 87.3 percent of local residents aged five and older have one vaccination, 83.9 percent have two, and 50.4 percent have three.
