Niagara Regional Police have caught up with a St. Catharines man wanted for an alleged stabbing over the weekend.
A man wanted for an alleged assault and stabbing at a campground in Jordan is now in custody.
Forty one year old Omar Baxter of St. Catharines was arrested today (Tuesday) and is facing a number of charges including assault by choking, two counts of uttering threats, forcible confinement and attempted murder to name a few.
An altercation between two people early Sunday morning at the Big Valley Campground in Jordan led to the alleged assault and stabbing.
The victim was sent to hospital with non life threatening injuries in what Niagara Regional Police called a targeted attack.
Baxter is being held in custody and is expected to appear in court on today (Tuesday June 29).
