Algoma Central Corporation and United Way Niagara teamed up to make a $6,000 donation to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold.
Items donated include cash, diapers, clothes and food.
The initiative was done in honour of former Algoma Central Vice President Bruce Partridge.
He died on October 6th at the age of 50, and he dedicated over 30 years to the shipping industry.
