The City of St. Catharines has decided to close all facilities; including City Hall, the fire stations and Buchanan House.
They will be closed to the public starting today and they're not scheduled to reopen until April 5th.
This is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mayor Walter Sendzik says they're taking necessary steps to keep people safe.
This will not affect critical services; including fire services, traffic services, water/sewer operations and road operations.
Residents can still contact Citizens First over the phone by calling 905-688-5600. They can also send an e-mail to citizensfirst@stcatharines.ca.
