It's a reminder to slow down and move over, if you spot an emergency vehicle on the side of the road.
According to Niagara EMS, an ambulance hit a deer on the QEW early this morning, shortly before 4:00 a.m.
The paramedics and the patient they were transporting at the time, were not hurt in the crash.
The paramedics decided to remove the patient from the ambulance, after they noticed smoke coming out of the engine compartment.
A passing vehicle struck the ambulance from behind afterwards.
The driver sustained minor injuries, and was taken to hospital with the patient.
