Andy "Fletch" Fletcher, keyboardist of Depeche Mode, has died at the age of 60.
The news was announced on the band's official Twitter account this afternoon.
"Fletch had a true heart of gold, and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh, or a cold pint," the post says.
A cause of death has not been confirmed.
Fletcher was a founding member of the group, which formed in 1980.
