Police say the accused shot a 19-year old in an alley
Another arrest has been made by police in connection to a shooting in a St. Catharines alley that left a 19-year old man seriously hurt.
Police were called to a house on Catharine Street earlier this week, where they say an 18-year old had shot the victim in an alley.
Police had charged Taeshaun Haynes of St. Catharines with assault and weapon charges, but after a further search of a Louth Street house, an additional 7 charges have been laid.
He had a bail hearing Tuesday, but remains in custody until another court appearance early next month.
Police have also arrested his girlfriend, 19-year old Charlize Knott of Niagara Falls.
She faces 8 weapon charges, 2 drug trafficking charges, and obstructing police.
She has a bail hearing in St. Catharines today.
