This one mentions the three words we dread, Lake Effect Snow
A week doesn't go by without a winter weather prediction.
Global News has released its forecast for the next few months and it's not too bad.
The network's meteorologist says the warm fall means temperatures in the Great Lakes are running anywhere from 3 to 5 degrees above normal which will help counter an early Arctic chill.
But that would setup the ideal conditions for lake effect snow in November and December.
According to Global's forecast, significant thaws are expected in January and February with above normal rainfall.
