Arrest Made in Fatal Niagara-on-the-Lake Hit and Run

One person has been arrested in connection to a deadly hit and run in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

On April 6th, the body of 40 year old Matthew Wilson was found on the side of the road near Lakeshore and McNab Road.

Investigators determined the pedestrian was hit on the passenger side of a Ford F-150 traveling eastbound on Lakeshore Road.

A 54 year old man from Niagara-on-the-Lake has been charged for failing to report the collision.

Police still wish to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident, and anyone with information can call 905-688-4111, ext.1009137.
