Bing Han wanted on kidnapping charge
York Regional Police are searching for a Niagara Falls woman following an alleged kidnapping in Markham.
Police say on April 14th, officers were notified by their counterparts in Montreal about a possible victim of a kidnapping.
The victim had been gambling with the suspect who encouraged her to borrow money from a company she knew of.
The victim borrowed a significant amount of cash, which she lost.
Police say she was then held against her will until she paid up.
Officers located the victim, unharmed, at a hotel in Markham where she was still being held.
Three suspects were taken into custody and police have issued an arrest warrant for a fourth, identified as 44 year old Bing Han of Niagara Falls.
