City looking for artists with experience creating large scale works
The City of Niagara Falls Recreation and Culture Department invites Ontario-based artists or artist-led teams, working in any medium, to submit a design concept for a temporary 2D artwork to be digitally reproduced and installed on the exterior of the upcoming cultural hub - the Niagara Falls Exchange.
The city says proposals are encouraged from artists, and artist-led teams, who have experience in creating large scale works and the technical skills to provide the work in digital format suitable for large scale reproduction.
The city will be responsible for printing the mural onto aluminum composite panels and installation.
The successful artist will receive $7,500.
Short-listed applicants completing a stage two submission will receive $500.
There is no fee to apply. For more information, visit https://niagarafalls.ca/living/arts-and-culture
