About 2,400 baby chicks spilled over highway.
OPP stepped in to rescue about 2,400 baby chicks yesterday after they spilled out onto the QEW yesterday.
The rescue occurred yesterday near Ontario Street in Beamsville.
OPP say the truck driver forgot to close the door securing them in the back of the truck.
The chicks were helped back into the truck by Burlington OPP officers and members of the public.
