Police believe he stole jewelry, art and electronics from a home in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The NRP responded to a break and enter in the Stewart Road and Niagara Stone area on Canada Day.
Officers believe it happened sometime between 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
The investigation lead officers to a home in Barrie.
A 23-year-old man was arrested and charged yesterday after officers found some of the stolen items.
