Suspect accused of exploiting kids from Canada and the United States
A man from Beamsville has been arrested in connection to a child pornography case.
Yesterday, Niagara Regional Police received a tip from the United States Homeland Security Investigations and the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Police say they received evidence that a Niagara resident was exploitating children in the United States and Canada online.
Earlier today, 36 year old Matthew Bruce Iverson was arrested.
He was charged with the following offences:
- Make Child Pornography (written)
- Possess Child Pornography
- Make Child Pornography Available
During a search, detectives seized several electronic devices believed to be connected to the investigation.
A bail hearing will take place later today.
