Beamsville man plans to buy a house after winning $1 million.
A man from Beamsville has had a big win.
Ryan MacGregor won the $1 million Maxmillions prize in the September 30th Lotto Max draw.
The 26-year-old says he is a regular lottery player.
"I scanned my ticket on the OLG App and saw the Big Winner screen appear," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up his winnings. "I had to scan it four more times to really believe it. I was in complete disbelief."
He says he plans to save some of the money and use some towards a down payment on a house.
According to the OLG, the winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer Snack Express on Main Street in Grimsby.
