Two events being held to celebrate Beamsville Secondary School.
Beamsville residents will soon have a chance to say goodbye to Beamsville Secondary School.
The school is closing in June to make way for West Niagara Secondary School, which was originally slated to open in September, but has been pushed to an undetermined time.
The new-mega school will serve students in Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln.
On May 21st, two events will take places to allow alumni to celebrate the school's legacy.
From 11 AM to 4 PM, a free "Treasure the Memories" open house will take place at the school, showcasing memorabilia throughout the school's 134 years.
From 6 PM to 10 PM, a "Buccaneers Bash" will be held at the Fleming Centre for anyone 19 years of age or older.
More information on the events is available here.
