Its official Joe Biden will become the 46th President of the United States.
His running mate, Kamala Harris, will also become the first black woman and the first person of South Asian decent to serve as Vice President.
They secured the election this afternoon after winning Pennsylvania and Nevada.
Biden will deliver a formal speech in Wilmington, Delaware tonight at 8:00 p.m.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has congratulated Biden and Harris on the win and he says he's looking forward to working with them.
President Donald Trump is currently golfing in Virginia and he says his campaign will "start prosecuting our case in court to ensure election laws are fully upheld and the rightful winner is seated."
