Buffalo Sabres and Bills co-owner Kim Pegula is receiving medical care due to undisclosed health issues.
While limited details have been made public, the family says Pegula has been making progress over the past few days.
"We are very grateful for the progress she has made over the past few days," reads a statement from the Pegula family. "She has an exceptional team of medical experts at her side."
It's unclear how long she has been receiving medical treatment.
In addition to co-owning the teams, she is the President and CEO of Pegula Sports and Entertainment.
