Ottawa appears in no hurry to let the team know if it can return to Toronto July 30th
It looks like Ottawa will keep the Blue Jays waiting before deciding whether they can move from their temporary home in Buffalo back to Rogers Centre.
A government official has told the Associated Press the Jays won't find out by this weekend, even though a team official had said they expected a response by the end of this week on whether they can return to Toronto starting July 30th.
The club is proposing a modified quarantine process for players and staff who have either been partially vaccinated or not vaccinated at all.
Team officials also want fully vaccinated personnel treated the same as Canadian travellers who do not have to quarantine for 14 days when they return home.
