Border Action on Hold as Mediation Continues

All strike action by 9,000 CBSA personnel is on hold as mediation will continue until Wednesday. Picket lines will not be in place until further notice.

The Public Service Alliance of Canada that represents workers at Canada Border Service Agency workers says there will be no job action today.

All strike action by 9,000 CBSA personnel is on hold as mediation will continue until Wednesday.

Picket lines will not be in place until further notice.

The union says key issues include pay parity with other law enforcement agencies, remote work options, pension benefits and stronger workplace protections.
