Move kicked in Monday
Brock University has paused its COVID-19 vaccination and mask requirements.
The move kicked in yesterday.
The University says the decision was made based on the province’s decision to lift its vaccine requirements.
The move also applies to Brock's summer youth camps as well, meaning participants and staff may choose whether or not to wear a mask while at camp.
Most colleges and universities in Ontario also removed their vaccine requirements earlier this year.
The University says both the mask and vaccine requirements are subject to chance on short notice should the public health situation require it.
