Health researchers from Niagara and the GTA expected to attend Brock University event tomorrow
Healthcare research will take centre stage at Brock University tomorrow.
The Niagara Health Research Day event is being held at the school, with researchers from across the region and the GTA in attendance.
The event will focus on ways to improve overall health and well-being, as well as patient outcomes.
"Niagara Health Research Day is an incredible opportunity to learn about and celebrate the remarkable work of our staff, physicians, students and community partners to advance healthcare knowledge and innovation through research," says Elaina Orlando, Niagara Health’s Manager of Research. "We are thrilled to gather in person again and give prominence to some of the latest healthcare research while generating ideas for research growth that will benefit patients in Niagara and beyond."
It will feature a keynote address by Dr. Michael Unger, who is the Founder and Director of the Resilience Research Centre at Dalhousie University.
It will also include presentations, workshops and research awards.
