Avril Lavigne to get star on Canada's Walk of Fame
Canada's Walk of Fame has announced this year's inductees.
Avril Lavigne will get a star, as well as Cree and Metis actress Tantoo Cardinal, broadcasting executive Gary Slaight, and Roots co-owners Michael Budman and Don Green.
The Walk of Fame will mark it's 25th anniversary this year, and a special event will be filmed on December 2nd.
The event will be broadcast at a later date.
