Police looking into what appears to be bizarre crash near Dorchester Road

Confirmation from police a woman has been taken to hospital for treatment, after a car flipped over onto its roof this morning.

They say it happened in a parking lot at Lundy's Lane and Dorchester Road.

Witnesses to our newsroom say it appears the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while in one parking lot, smashed through a fence, before flipping over upside down in a neighbouring parking lot.

We do not know if there was anyone else in the car.
