Something is missing from Centennial Gardens in St. Catharines.
Crews had to take down the totem pole yesterday. It's going to be dried, restored and reinstalled next year.
The pole has been on display for the past 51 years.
It has been deteriorating, so City Council decided to approve the restoration work in August.
Staff asked council to set aside $125,000 in 2020 Capital Budget for the project.
