Speech focused on teamwork and respect.
Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley delivered his State of the Region address earlier today.
Bradley appeared before a sold-out audience at the Balls Falls Conservation area, and many others tuned in online to hear him speak.
He reflected on his time in office and highlighted some of his accomplishments, including numerous investments in local hospitals and long-term care, the decision to consolidate public transit into a single service for the entire region, and the importance of the 2022 Canada Summer Games in Niagara.
The Chair also discussed the region's response to the pandemic and presented a few ideas for the future, including capitalizing on remote work trends and protecting Niagara's agricultural sector.
Bradley gave credit to the strength of the Regional Council team.
