Some big changes proposed for federal riding boundaries in Niagara.
The Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission of Ontario has recommended changes to several federal riding boundaries in the province.
The changes include lumping Grimsby's waterfront with Hamilton.
It also includes making most of Thorold part of Niagara West, and Fort Erie part of Niagara Centre.
The commission says it has invoked its mandate, which requires reviews following each 10 year census.
An additional riding has also been allocated for the province.
The changes were proposed after the 2021 census showed a large population growth in the province.
