They're now facing five charges, and they have had their vehicle and licence suspended for a week.
Wainfleet Fire Chief Morgan Alcock says a driver has been charged, after an on-duty firefighter was hit by a vehicle last Tuesday morning.
They were responding to a crash on Highway 3, north of Claredon Street, when someone drove around the blockade and hit the firefighter.
The firefighter was assessed on scene by EMS, before they were taken to hospital for medical clearance.
