No one was hurt after the NRP responded a threats call in Welland.
Officers were called to the Southworth Street and Ontario Road area on Thursday and they eventually searched the home of a 42-year-old man.
They seized several weapons.
The man is now facing a list of charges including possession of a prohibited weapon and two counts of uttering death threats.
