Two people charged with first degree murder
Two people have been charged with first degree murder following the death of an OPP officer.
Officer Greg Pierzchala was shot to death around 2:30 p.m. yesterday while responding to a vehicle in a ditch near Hagersville.
The 28 year old had just completed his probationary period with the OPP.
The suspects, 25 year old Randall McKenzie and 30 year old Brandi Stewart-Sperry, appeared in court today.
The pair will be back in court on January 17th.
