Charges Laid in West Lincoln Crash

Driver charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm

Police continue to investigate a serious crash in West Lincoln.

On August 28th, a 59 year old woman suffered serious injuries after a collision on Regional Road 20 near Streamside Drive.

The crash involved a Hyundai Tucson and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle remains in hospital in stable condition.

The Tucson driver, a 53 year old woman from Smithville, has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm.

She'll appear in court on November 7th.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to call police at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009569.
