Cheekbone Beauty Founder Honoured by Chateline Magazine

A St. Catharines businesswoman is one of Chateline's Women of the Year for 2019.

Jennifer Harper founded Cheekbone Beauty about four and a half years ago.

It specializes in cruelty-free makeup and looks to inspire Indigenous women.

She appeared on Dragons Den a couple of months ago. Vincenzo Guzzo offered her $125,000 for a 50-percent stake in her business, but she turned it down and walked away without a deal.

Chateline says she is a Woman of the Year for believing in herself and her boundry-pushing beauty brand.
