Liquid chlorine in scarce supply
If you own a backyard pool, this will come as no surprise, there is a shortage of liquid chlorine.
Many pool supply stores are limiting customers to just 10 litres at a time.
The shortage also means higher prices.
Part of the problem stems from a fire in 2020 at a plant in Louisiana that makes chlorine combined with supply chain issues.
However, chlorine pucks or granular chlorine are still available but at a much higher price than the liquid equivalent.
