Christmas is over, so it's time to start taking down the tree.
If you decided to go with a real tree this year, the Region's waste collection trucks will be picking them up the week of January 6th.
They have to be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your regular collection day.
They won't be collected if they're covered in plastic or buried in the snow.
You should also remove all of your Christmas ornaments and decorations beforehand.
Only real trees will be collected. No artificial trees allowed.
