City says it has received a complaint about residents receiving calls about a health card questionnaire.
The City of St. Catharines is letting residents know that it won't call you about health cards.
In a tweet, the City says it received a report about residents being called with a pre-recorded message.
The message says City Hall is calling in regards to a questionnaire about health cards.
Officials say the City doesn't make such calls, and they shouldn't be trusted.
Anyone who suspects fraud is urged to contact police.
