The Welland Transit Terminal will act as the City's warming centre for this winter season.
The terminal is located at 160 East Main Street.
The warming centre will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
On New Year's Day, it will operate from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The City warns that while anyone can be harmed by extremely cold weather, seniors, young children, outdoor workers, homeless people and those with mobility issues especially need to exercise caution.
